Its integrated G-CELL panels provide the very best protection in the event of side collisions, while the 5-point safety harness offers the most secure fit as they grow.
Ease of use
Each day is made easier with Onyx. Its 5-point safety harness can be used up to 4 years (105 cm), and after that, you can store the harness away in the seat to convert the car seat to booster mode. Your little one can then be buckled up quickly and easily using the car’s seat belt.

How long can I use a Group 1/2/3 car seat? 
Group 1/2/3 car seats are designed to suit children from 15 months up to 12 years. To ensure the safety of your child(ren) during the lifespan of the car seat, make sure that the product is not damaged (harness or pads lost, etc.).
Is the Onyx an i-Size car seat?
Yes, it complies with EU regulation R129/03.
Can I install the Onyx in a rearward-facing position?
No, Onyx can only be used in a forward-facing position.
Can I install the Onyx without the ISOFIX connectors?
From 15 months up to 4 years, the product must be installed using the ISOFIX connectors and the top tether. From 4 years up to 12 years, the integrated car seat belt needs to be used. We advise continuing to use the ISOFIX connectors for increased stability.
Can I install the Onyx without the top tether?
For children up to 4 years old secured in their seat with the harness, Onyx must be installed using ISOFIX connectors and the top tether. From 4 years up to 12 years old, the top tether is optional.
How can I put this car seat in a recline position?
Located at the front and center of the seat, there’s a release handle that enables you to recline the seat into multiple relaxing positions.
How can I adjust the headrest?
Simply pull the strap of the headrest up to adjust it in height. When you want to lower the headrest, again pull the strap up and push the headrest down.
Should I remove the harness for children taller than 105 cm or older than about 4 years?
Never remove the harness from the seat. Store it away in the back of the seat when adjusting from 105 cm / 4 years.
When should I store away the harness?
The harness is used up to 105 cm tall / approx. age of 4 years / maximum of 18 kg and must be stored away afterwards. The car seat belt should be used from the age of 4 years onwards.
